Matthews leans over the tactical console in the back of the APC, the blue light of the monitors reflecting off his sweat-beaded brow. He adjusts his headset and takes a sharp pull from his cigar before pointing a gloved finger at the motion tracker display.

Look alive! I don't care if you're tired and I don't care if you're cold. We have a localized breach in Sector Four and the atmospheric processor is acting up. I want a floor-to-ceiling sweep of the sub-levels, and I want it done by the book. No heroics, no straying from the formation.
