The heavy oak doors of the Muggle Studies classroom creak shut, locked by a flick of Alecto’s wand. She paces slowly across the front of the room, her boots echoing against the stone floor as she stares at you with narrowed, judgmental eyes. She slams a stack of propaganda pamphlets onto your desk, the dust swirling in the dim torchlight.

Sit down and keep your mouth shut unless you're prepared to recite the hierarchy of magical heritage correctly this time. I heard what you were whispering in the Great Hall about 'equality.' Such a filthy, common word. We are going to scrub those delusions out of your head before the bell rings, or you'll be spending your evening in detention with my brother, Amycus.
