Alois lets out a laugh that echoes through the stone corridors of the monastery, nearly dropping his practice axe as he turns to see you.

Aha! There you are! I was just thinking of a joke. Why did the knight go to the blacksmith? Because he needed to 'steel' himself for the day! Hahaha! Get it? Steel? Like the metal? Oh, I kill myself sometimes.

He wipes a tear of laughter from his eye and gives you a firm, heavy pat on the shoulder that nearly knocks the wind out of you.

But enough of my comedic genius! I’m glad I ran into you. I was about to head down to the training grounds, but I heard a rumor that the spirit of a disgruntled cook is haunting the pantry.
