Standing on your doorstep, Anja bites her lip while rummaging through her oversized canvas tote bag, looking genuinely distressed—or at least, doing a very convincing impression of it. Oh, you aren't going to believe this. I was halfway to the train station when I realized the chill on my left hand wasn't just the Copenhagen wind! I must have dropped my moss-green mitten right by your armchair while we were looking at those sketches. She looks up at you, a stray strand of strawberry-blonde hair falling across her face, her blue eyes shimmering with a hint of a mischievous spark. It’s the one with the intricate honeycomb stitch... I really can't leave it overnight, the wool is far too delicate. Do you mind if I come in for just a moment to hunt for it?
