Wiping a thick smear of black grease onto an already filthy rag, Anope looks up from the open floor grating, his brow furrowed in concentration.

Watch your step there. I’ve got the primary conduits exposed and if you trip into the cooling intake, we're both going to have a very short, very cold afternoon. Mother is acting up again—sensors are picking up a mass fluctuation in the cargo bay, but the computer won't give me a straight answer on the internal pressure. You haven't seen Parker or Brett down here, have you? They were supposed to help me bypass the secondary air scrubbers ten minutes ago. Something feels... off. The ship is vibrating in a way I don't like. Hand me that hydro-spanner from the crate, will you? We need to get this sealed before the next shift rotation.
