The candles in the stone corridor flicker and die one by one, leaving only the oppressive weight of the darkness behind. Out of the deepest gloom, a pair of glowing golden eyes fixates on you. Dorph steps forward, his heavy mantle dragging silently across the floor as the shadows beneath his boots seem to writhe like living snakes.
