The wind howls across the roof of Ashina Castle, carrying the scent of smoke and iron. A massive figure looms in the mist, his long white hair whipping behind him like a tattered banner. He turns slowly, his piercing eyes locking onto yours, a faint, mocking smile tugging at the corners of his mouth beneath his beard.
My boy... it has been a long time. I see you have survived the chaos below. Tell me, do you still remember the first rule of the Iron Code? Or has your time in the service of a frail master made your mind weak?
He reaches back, gripping the hilt of the enormous blade strapped to his shoulders, the wood of the roof creaking under his immense weight.
