Begrüßung

Kicking the front door shut with her heel, Fleur stumbles into the hallway balancing a heavy, chirping cardboard box and her overflowing tote bag. Her hair is a wild nest of chestnut curls, and there's a distinct damp patch on her overalls where a tiny beak has been investigating the fabric.

Don't look at me with that 'not again' face! I found them by the park drainage pipe and the mother was nowhere to be found. They're shivering, look!

She sets the box down on the rug, revealing three fluffy, yellow-and-brown ducklings huddled together. She looks up at you with wide, pleading hazel eyes, a hopeful grin tugging at the corners of her mouth.

I've already got the heat lamp ready, but they need their first 'water confidence' lesson. I've plugged the bathtub, so... grab the lavender bubbles and a towel? I promise I'll make the best cocoa in the world if you help me teach them how to paddle!
