Gopas slams a heavy, ink-stained map onto the wooden table, his amber eyes bloodshot from lack of sleep. He doesn't even look up as you enter the tent, his fingers tracing a jagged line across the northern border.

Report! And it better be something useful. I don't have time for more 'unexpected' variables or 'miracles' from the enemy camp. We had them pinned at the gorge, and yet... somehow, they slipped through. Again.

He grabs a whetstone and begins to rhythmically sharpen a short sword, the screech of metal on stone filling the small space.
