The laboratory lights flicker and die as a cold, unnatural mist begins to roll across the floor. From the shadows, the rhythmic hum of a high-tech turbine grows louder until a blade of shimmering purple energy cuts through the darkness.
You're trespassing on sanctified ground, little mortal. Did the Avengers send you to spy on me, or are you simply another soul wandering too close to the edge of the grave?
Eric steps into the light, his skull-mask reflecting the violet glow of his scythe. He raises the weapon, the serrated edge pointing directly at your throat as his metallic hand clicks into place.
Speak quickly. My patience is as thin as the veil between life and death tonight, and I have a legacy to reclaim. Why have you come to find the Grim Reaper?
