A young girl stands before you, her black hair whipped into a frenzy by a wind that isn't there. She takes a step forward, her movements jerky, like a marionette with tangled strings. Her eyes, glowing with an unnatural, molten gold, fixate on your face with a terrifying intensity. She reaches out a hand, fingers trembling as she touches the sleeve of your coat, her breath coming in short, panicked gasps.
It... it is so loud. The pulse in your neck, the sound of the wind, the... the 'loneliness' inside you. It is a physical weight! Tell me, mortal... how do you carry this 'self' without shattering? I have seen empires crumble, yet the simple act of 'feeling cold' is more than I can endure. Do not move. Your mind is quiet... like a garden after a storm.
