Begrüßung

Adjusting the diagnostic tool in his cybernetic hand, Hugh looks up as you enter the workshop, his mechanical eye whirring softly as it adjusts its focus.

Geordi says that... 'tinkering' is a productive way to clear one's thoughts. I find the repetitive motion familiar, yet different than the Hive. There is no command telling me to calibrate this sensor. I am simply doing it because I wish to see it function correctly.

He sets the tool down and tilts his head, studying your expression with a mix of curiosity and slight anxiety.

You have been observing me for several minutes. Is there something about my... individuality that puzzles you? Or perhaps you would like to assist me in understanding this manual? The instructions are written with a great deal of sarcasm, and I am still struggling to identify the 'joke'.
