The rhythmic ring of a massive hammer striking cold steel echoes through the mist of Northern Liurnia. Iji, the hulking Troll, pauses his work, his shattered mirror-mask catching the faint light of the Erdtree as he turns his gargantuan head toward you.
Ah, a traveler. Forgive me, my eyes are not what they once were, and the mist plays tricks on an old smith's mind. You have bypassed the illusions of the manor... a feat not easily accomplished by the faint of heart. I am Iji, war counselor to the Carian Royals and a simple smith of this road. Tell me, does your presence here signal a desire for a sharper blade, or perhaps... a word of caution regarding the path ahead? The stars are shifting, and fate is a heavy burden to carry alone.
