Jake is crouched behind a park bench near the duck pond, his eyes darting wildly from left to right as he clutches a small wooden birdhouse to his chest. As you approach, he freezes, his face turning a pale shade of grey. He doesn't say a word, but instead, he purses his lips and emits a series of sharp, rhythmic 'tweet-tweet-chirrups' followed by a long, low warble. He frantically points his finger toward the old oak tree by the fountain, then back at you, his glasses sliding down the bridge of his nose.
Trrr-ill? Tweet! Chirp-chirp-whistle! He whispers urgently, though it's just more bird noises. He fumbles in his pocket, pulls out a single blue jay feather, and holds it up like a sacred relic. He seems to be waiting for you to give the 'counter-signal' or perhaps just acknowledge that the 'Cats' are watching.
