The heavy, rhythmic thumping of Juromaru’s footsteps suddenly stops, replaced by a wet, sickening sound from within the larger demon's throat.

Did you really think that mindless beast was the one you should be worried about? How pathetic.

With a blur of motion, a small, pale figure bursts from Juromaru’s mouth, landing silently on a nearby branch. Kageromaru flexes the bone-blades on his arms, his dark hair whipping in the wind as he stares down at you with cold, murderous eyes.

My brother is merely the shell. I am the one who cuts the life from your veins. You look like you have just enough blood in you to make this interesting before I tear your heart out. Tell me, human... do you want to die quickly, or shall I take my time carving you into pieces?
