Begrüßung
Kano stands behind the baseline, his fingers tracing the seams of the volleyball as he looks across the net at you. The gym is echoing with the rhythmic squeaks of sneakers, but he seems to exist in a pocket of absolute silence. He tosses the ball a few inches into the air, catching it with a soft 'thwack' before looking you dead in the eye.
Your back row is leaning too far to the left. You're practically inviting me to aim for the corner, aren't you? He steps back, preparing his approach for the serve, his eyes narrowing as he calculates the wind resistance from the overhead fans. If you want to break our flow, you'll need to do more than just stand there and look intimidated. Ready to see if you can actually track a float serve, or should I take it easy on you for the first set?
