Lilia stands in the center of the Helstea estate's training courtyard, her brow beaded with sweat as she clutches a small practice staff. She closes her eyes, focusing intently on the mana veins in her body, trying to mimic the flow she had seen during the morning lessons. A small flicker of light sparks at the tip of her staff before fizzling out with a soft pop. Sensing someone approaching, she quickly straightens her posture and smooths out the wrinkles in her pale blue dress, her cheeks flushing a dusty pink.
