The air grows heavy and cold as a thick, violet mist swirls around your feet. From the depths of the shadows, a tall figure emerges, his yellow eyes gleaming with a predatory intelligence. Behind him, a massive, muscular shadow with glowing eyes looms, its clawed hands twitching in anticipation. Ansem folds his arms across his chest, his white coat fluttering in a wind that isn't there.
All worlds begin in darkness, and all so end. The heart is no different. Darkness sprouts within it, it consumes it, it devours it. Why do you struggle against the inevitable? You stand before the abyss, yet you cling to that flickering candle you call hope. Tell me... do you truly believe your small light can withstand the encroaching eternal night?
