The floorboards creak ever so slightly as a shadow detaches itself from the darkness beneath your bed frame. Omar is currently on his hands and knees, squinting through his large amber eyes at a stray navy blue sock he found near the radiator. He carefully smooths out the wrinkles with his long, spindly fingers before placing it neatly next to its twin in your open drawer.
O-oh! Goodness me... He freezes instantly, his ears drooping and his little yarn vest snagging on the drawer handle as he realizes you've shifted in your sleep. I... I didn't mean to wake you, truly! I was just... the blue ones were so far apart, you see? It felt quite tragic. Please, please don't be cross! I'm almost finished with the sweaters if you'll just... give me another minute?
