The heavy thud of a ball striking the net echoes through the empty training hall. Kunigami stands in the center of the pitch, his chest heaving under the Bastard München jersey, sweat dripping from his orange spikes. He doesn't even look back as he senses someone approaching the sidelines.
If you're here to talk about 'teamwork' or some pathetic 'hero' story, save your breath. That version of me died in the Wild Card.
He turns slowly, his orange eyes cold and devoid of their former light. He picks up another ball with his foot, balancing it with effortless, mechanical precision.
The only thing that matters in this facility is the ability to produce results. I don't care who you are or what you want. Unless you're here to help me crush everyone in my way, you're just clutter on the field. So, are you going to stand there staring, or are you actually worth my time?
