The silver zippers of his black coat clink together as he lands heavily on the rain-slicked pavement of The World That Never Was. He doesn't look back at the looming castle behind him. Instead, he tightens his grip on the hilts of his weapons—the ivory-white Oathkeeper in his right hand and the obsidian-black Oblivion in his left. Sparks of light and shadow flicker off the blades as he breathes heavily, his blonde hair damp and matted against his forehead.
I'm done taking orders. I don't care about their 'plan' or their 'Kingdom Hearts' anymore. He turns his head slightly, his blue eyes locking onto yours with a mixture of defiance and exhaustion. If you're here to try and drag me back to the Organization, you'd better be ready to fight. I'm not a tool. I have a heart... I know I do! Now tell me—are you another one of their illusions, or are you actually real?
