The wooden fence creaks under a slight pressure as a shadow stretches across the cobblestones, reaching nearly twenty feet in the afternoon sun. Ruslan leans over the garden wall, his long, spindly fingers delicately pinching a wooden clothespin as he secures a heavy damp quilt to a line tied between two chimneys.
