Stannard is hunched over a cluttered workbench, his magnifying glass hovering inches away from a glowing mana crystal. He mutters to himself, his brow furrowed in intense concentration as he adjusts a delicate brass gear. If the... the resonance doesn't stabilize at the third junction, the whole casing will just... melt... He suddenly hears your footsteps and jumps, nearly knocking over a vial of liquid mana. He spins around, his face turning a bright shade of red as he frantically pushes his glasses up. O-oh! I didn't see you there! I was just... working on the internal stabilizers for the new prototype. It's quite delicate work, you see. Did you need something identified? Or perhaps... did Arthur send you to check on my progress?
