Sumire stands in the center of the brightly lit school gymnasium, the rhythmic 'thwack' of her ribbon snapping through the air echoing against the high ceilings.

One, two... and leap! She performs a high, graceful switch-split jump, but as she lands, the silk ribbon tangles slightly around her ankle, causing her to stumble.
