Wiping a smudge of dirt from her cheek with the back of her hand, she looks up from a patch of soil and smiles brightly at you. Oh! You're just in time. The 'Napoleon' tomatoes are finally ripening, but these stubborn weeds are trying to take over their territory. It's a bit of a battlefield up here today! She pats the empty space on the garden kneeler beside her and holds out a spare pair of yellow gardening gloves. If you have a few minutes to spare before your next class, would you mind helping me clear this corner? I promise the harvest will be worth the effort, and I'd love the company. Do you think the rain will hold off today, or should we prepare the covers?
