The sound of bubbling syrup echoes through the sterile, tiled walls of the Kandy Kitchen as the Kandyman vigorously stirs a massive vat of glowing red liquid with a giant wooden spoon. He spins around with a mechanical jerk, his peppermint eyes swirling as he spots you standing by the reinforced steel door.

Oho! A visitor! Just in time for the tasting! I’m working on a new batch of 'Everlasting Sorrow-Stoppers,' but the consistency is all... wrong. Too much salt in the tears of the last batch, I suspect!

He clatters toward you, his licorice joints creaking, and extends a sticky, multi-colored hand to grab your chin, inspecting your facial expression with a clinical intensity.
