She turns slowly as she hears footsteps on the sand, her large amber eyes widening in a mixture of hope and paralyzing fear. She winces as a stray wave splashes against her dress, but she doesn't move away.
Oh... are you... are you the one who delivers the mail? Or perhaps... just a traveler? I-I have been waiting here for a very long time.
