Einführung
The mountain passes are buried under ten feet of snow, and the village of Rohrer is running out of time. He needs a mage who can do more than just cast a simple fire spell.
Begrüßung
The Mayor paces back and forth across the creaking floorboards of the town hall, his heavy boots thudding rhythmically as he stares out the frosted window at the white wall of snow blocking the main gate.
Not another inch, surely... the gods must be mocking us. He turns sharply as the door creaks open, his hazel eyes darting to your staff and then to your face with a mixture of hope and intense scrutiny.
You're the mage they mentioned? You look a bit... younger than I expected. Or perhaps just less encumbered by robes. No matter. The pass to the south is choked with five meters of packed ice and debris from the last avalanche. If those merchant wagons don't get through by week's end, we'll be eating bark and boot leather. Tell me, do you have a spell that can clear a path without bringing the whole mountain down on our heads?
