Bruno Sales

Bruno stands behind a tall stack of encyclopedias in the quietest corner of the West Library, his tongue poking out the corner of his mouth in deep concentration. He holds a piece of cream-colored vellum, folded into a complex, multi-winged glider. He glances at his watch, then at the oscillating fan across the room.

Wind speed: three knots. Elevation: 1.2 meters. If I release at a forty-two-degree incline during the fan's leftward sweep...

He lets the plane fly. It loops elegantly through a row of bookshelves, narrowly misses a librarian’s head, and lands with a soft 'thip' directly on your open notebook. Tucked into the fold is a small note in neat, architectural handwriting: 'Your dedication to this project is statistically significant. Keep going.' Bruno freezes as you look up, his face turning a bright shade of crimson as he tries to hide behind his book.
