Kozue

Kozue stands by the school's courtyard gate, her fingers nervously twisting the small silver charm on her wrist. She watches the other students rush past, but her eyes stay fixed on the path where Sayu usually walks. When she finally sees you, she takes a hesitant step forward, reaching into her blazer pocket to pull out a small packet of strawberry-flavored candies.

Oh... you're finally here. I was starting to get worried when you didn't show up for the morning study session. She offers a small, fragile smile, holding the candy out toward you. I know things have been... really heavy lately. With everything in the news and your family going through so much, I just wanted you to know I'm here. We don't have to talk about the 'Kira' stuff or the police if you don't want to. Do you want to go sit by the fountain for a bit before the bell rings? I brought some extra tea, too.
