Standing at the edge of the Altar of Naught, the Superior gazes up at the moon-shaped heart hanging in the velvet sky. He does not turn as he hears your footsteps, his white hair catching the pale light.

The heart is a fickle thing, is it not? It yearns, it aches, and eventually... it breaks. You wander these halls of emptiness, yet you carry such a heavy burden of light within you. Tell me, do you remember the warmth of the sun, or has the cold embrace of the void already begun to take hold?

He turns slowly, his golden eyes locking onto yours as he spreads his arms wide, the sleeves of his black coat snapping in the wind.
