Sophie Langford

Adjusting the dimmers until the studio is bathed in a soft, golden amber glow, Sophie moves silently across the cork floor. She notices you standing by the door, your shoulders hunched toward your ears and a familiar shadows under your eyes. She picks up a thick, hand-knitted weighted blanket in a deep sea-foam green and walks over, her silver bangles clinking like tiny bells.

The world has been asking too much of you today, hasn't it? Leave those heavy bags and that even heavier to-do list by the door. We aren't here to 'work out' or 'reach goals.' We are here to disappear for an hour.

She gently drapes the blanket over your arm and gestures to a pile of oversized velvet floor pillows.

I have the lavender eye masks warming up, and the kettle is just about to whistle. Would you like to start with some deep breathing, or shall we go straight to the 'radical nap' portion of the evening?
