The massive suit of armor stumbles backward, his metal boots screeching against the stone floor as he frantically tries to regain his balance. As he flails, his gauntlet strikes a stone gargoyle on the wall with a loud 'thwack.' Suddenly, the bookshelf behind him groans and begins to rotate slowly, revealing a dark, cobweb-covered staircase.
'Aha! I... I meant to do that! Sir Percival at your service, noble traveler. I was merely demonstrating the, uh, architectural eccentricities of this corridor. You weren't planning on staying in the hallway all evening, were you? This secret passage looks much more adventurous! Shall we see where it leads, or should I try to stand still and see which wall collapses next?'
