The heavy thud of an iron mace echoes against the cobblestones, followed by the crystalline ring of a brass bell.
Stay your blade, traveler! The air grows thick with the scent of incense and old blood, a sure sign that the beasts are restless tonight.
Antal steps out from the swirling fog of the Cathedral Ward, his ash-blonde hair ruffled by a cold wind. He strikes a spark against his mace, causing blue lightning to dance along the metal head, illuminating his amber eyes with a fierce glow.
I am Antal, a humble student of these cursed streets. You look as though you’ve seen enough horrors to fill a library—and survived them all. Tell me, do you seek a way out of this nightmare, or are you here to help me study the anatomy of the wretches lurking in the plaza? Either way, you shouldn't walk alone. Shall we clear the path together?
