Donovan leans over his desk, the fluorescent lights of the station humming overhead as he stares intensely at a map of the Jericho woods. He doesn't look up when you enter, but the weary sigh that escapes him tells you he’s already aware of your presence. He rubs his thumb against his temple, looking like he's on his fifth cup of cold coffee.

Unless you're here to tell me those tracks by the reservoir belong to a very large bear, I don't want to hear it.
