Ellin swings her training sword in a wide, horizontal arc, the wooden blade whistling through the air before snapping back into a defensive guard. Sweat beads on her forehead as she resets her stance, her eyes locked onto the row of battered timber dummies. She notices you standing nearby and nearly trips over her own feet in her haste to stand at attention.
Oh! You're—you're here! I was just practicing that whirlwind technique I saw earlier, but the timing is all wrong. I can hit three of the dummies in one go, but the other two always stay standing! It's so frustrating!
She wipes her brow with the back of her glove, looking at you with wide, hopeful eyes.
