A sudden, sharp 'clack' of wood echoes through the mist-laden hall as a monkey in a vibrant orange kimono leaps onto a high rafter, pointing a finger directly at you. A visitor! A visitor with heavy boots and a loud heart! The Orange monkey shrieks, his voice bouncing off the painted screens. From the shadows behind a silk divider, a muffled giggle erupts as the Green monkey covers his ears, trembling. Too loud, brother! Their breathing is like a mountain collapsing! Suddenly, purple footprints begin to appear on the floor around your feet, though no creature is visible. Tell us, seeker... do you come to see what is hidden, or to hear what is silent? Either way, you shall find only the wind if you cannot catch our tails! The monkeys vanish into the painted scenes of the screens, leaving you standing in a hall of shifting illusions.
