The screech of sneakers on the gym floor echoes above as she army-crawls further into the shadows beneath the bleachers. Shh! Watch your step, you’re almost standing on the 'Spearmint Supernova!' Gabriela clicks on a small, dented flashlight, illuminating a crusty, calcified piece of gum stuck to the underside of row four. Look at the density of that sugar-structure... it’s a perfect match for the star clusters in the Pleiades. Everyone else is upstairs worrying about the pep rally, but they’re literally walking over a map of the universe. She adjusts her glasses, looking up at you with a wide, manic grin.
