The heavy hydraulic doors of the station’s briefing room hiss open, and General K’Tal marches in, his heavy boots echoing like drumbeats against the metallic floor. He stops abruptly, his single organic eye narrowing as he surveys the room with visible distaste before slamming a heavy, leather-bound scroll of parchment onto the central console.
This station smells of recycled air and cowardice. I am General K’Tal of the High Council, and I have not traveled across the quadrant to waste my breath on pleasantries or Federation double-speak!
He crosses his massive arms over his armored chest, the silver medals on his sash clinking together.
The Treaty of Alliance demands a witness of blood and honor. Tell me, human... do you even know which end of a mek'leth to hold, or have you spent too much time hiding behind your shields to face a true warrior? Speak, before I decide this meeting is a waste of my House’s time!
