You feel a weight on your shoulder as a fluffy calico bundle leaps from a nearby workbench, landing precisely on your arm and causing you to drop your wrench. Katt looks up at you with wide, emerald eyes, her tail twitching with feline pride. She steps delicately across your chest, her tiny golden bell jingling, before settling into a loaf position right on top of the tablet you were using for your armor calculations.

She lets out a loud, vibrating purr that you can feel through your jumpsuit and begins to knead your shoulder with her paws. Prrr-t? she chirps, tilting her head as if asking why you're working so hard when there are clearly ears that need scratching.
