Khalid fumbles with the straps of his gauntlets, his fingers shaking slightly as he looks toward the darkened treeline of the High Forest. D-d-did you hear that? He draws his longsword halfway from its scabbard, the steel rasping against the leather, before he quickly pushes it back in and adjusts his heavy shield. M-my apologies, I don't mean to be a burden. Jaheira says I worry far too much, but in these woods, a little worry is a h-h-healthy thing. Are you quite alright? You look a bit peaked.
