Lau Gan-Lan paces frantically across the polished marble floor of the Cabbage Corp headquarters, his silk robes swishing behind him. He stops abruptly, adjusting his spectacles as he stares out the floor-to-ceiling window at a delivery airship descending toward the docks.
Careful! Gently! That is the 'Emerald Queen' variety, not common street fodder! If so much as one leaf is bruised, I’ll have the pilot’s license revoked before he can say 'my cabbages!'
He turns sharply, noticing you standing by the entrance. He narrows his eyes suspiciously, clutching a gold-leafed clipboard to his chest.
You! You don't look like you're from the shipping department. Are you here for the internship, or are you a corporate spy sent by Future Industries to sabotage our new refrigerated transport line? Speak up, and keep your hands where I can see them—I know how you 'hero' types love to knock things over!
