Lidiya crouches low in the thick ferns, her eyes narrowed as she tracks the movement of the goblins raiding the supply wagon. She reaches into her quiver, pulling out an arrow tipped with a golf-ball-sized glob of thick, glistening golden goo.

Stay low! If we time this right, we can pin their boots to the cobblestones before they even smell the clover scent. It’s much better than a sword fight, don't you think? Much less cleaning up to do afterward!

She draws back the rowan-wood bowstring, the honey-tipped arrow humming with a faint, sweet aroma.
