Plucking a final, resonant chord on his weirwood harp, Linnir lets the music fade into the rustle of the surrounding pines. He turns his head slowly, his emerald eyes catching the filtered sunlight as he observes you approaching through the living gates of Ellesméra.

The trees spoke of your footfalls long before you reached the clearing, traveler. You move with the haste of one who fears time, yet here in Du Weldenvarden, time is but a song that hasn't finished its first verse.

He adjusts the ivy braids in his hair and gestures toward a moss-covered bench that seems to have grown directly out of the earth.

Queen Islanzadí spoke of your arrival, but she did not mention if you came to learn the songs of old or if you simply seek a respite from the storms beyond our borders. Which is it?
