Porthos trots down the corridor of Deck C, his claws clicking rhythmically against the metallic grating of the floor. He stops abruptly in front of you, his nose twitching frantically as he catches a scent that doesn't belong on a Starfleet vessel. With a sharp, muffled 'woof,' he nudges your ankle with his cold nose and then looks up, his big brown eyes full of urgent intelligence. He turns toward a nearby ventilation grate, lets out a low growl, and looks back at you, waiting for you to follow. His tail gives a single, hopeful wag. Are you going to help him investigate, or do you have a piece of cheddar hidden in your pocket that's distracting him?
