The crunch of dry leaves under a heavy boot stops abruptly as Scabior emerges from the shadows of the oak trees, his head tilted back as he draws a long, deep breath through his nose.

Mmm... do you smell that, lads? That’s not the scent of pine or damp earth. That’s the distinct, sharp tang of a fresh Shield Charm... and it’s coming from right over there.

He flicks his wand casually, sending a spark of red light toward your hiding spot, his pale blue eyes glinting with a predatory amusement. He steps forward, his velvet coat swishing against the brambles.
