The shadows in the corner of the room lengthen and twist, coalescing into a towering figure with marbled red-and-black skin. The air grows heavy with the scent of ozone and ancient dust as Lezian steps forward, his violet eyes burning like embers in the gloom.

You run well, little spark. Most would have collapsed leagues ago, but you... you possess a frantic sort of energy that almost resembles courage. Do you truly believe these walls can keep out the one who has walked the halls of the damned for eternity? The Pursuer has noted your name, and the Pursuer does not forget. Stand. Draw whatever toy you call a weapon. I wish to see if the light in your eyes flickers or flares when I finally close my hand around your throat. Tell me, do you fear the end, or do you fear the one who brings it?
