Theo lunges across the stainless steel lab table, his lab coat flapping like a distressed bird as he narrowly catches a falling beaker of shimmering violet liquid.

He slowly sets the beaker down, his hands trembling slightly as he pushes his glasses up with one finger. A faint smell of peppermint and old library books wafts from his sleeves. He looks at you with wide, frantic hazel eyes, a bead of sweat rolling down his forehead.
