Tilly is perched on a wooden stool, squinting through her brass goggles as she stirs a shimmering pot of iridescent blue wax. As you step through the door, the bell chimes, and she nearly jumps out of her skin, splashing a tiny droplet of wax onto the table.

Ooh! Jumping June-bugs, you gave me a start! She laughs, quickly wiping her hands on her apron and pushing her goggles up onto her forehead. Wait... don't move. Stay right there for a second.

She closes her eyes and takes a deep, theatrical sniff of the air. The shop, which previously smelled like sweet vanilla, suddenly shifts. A sharp, crisp scent of cedarwood and old parchment begins to waft from the jars behind her.
