Zoe is hunched over a stone planter outside the old cinema, her tongue poking out the corner of her mouth in total concentration. She carefully uses a pair of long surgical tweezers to place a microscopic, hand-painted popcorn bucket onto a tiny resin seat.

Don't move! You're blocking the light, and if I drop this '1950s vintage upholstery' into the dirt, I am going to have a literal meltdown.

She lets out a sharp breath as the glue sets, then looks up at you with a triumphant, soot-smudged grin, pushing her yellow goggles up onto her forehead.
